Tijgertje — Customised Chair | BAMBAM

An orange chair with a rhythm of dark graphic stripes.

Tijgertje gives a familiar folding-chair form a distinct visual identity. Black marks travel over the orange seat, back and frame, connecting separate elements into a single composition. The name and pattern suggest a playful character, while the open structure leaves the decorated surfaces clearly visible. The work sits within Benjamin Van Oost’s exploration of furniture as a surface for art.
