Graphic marks leave the page and become a physical form.
Écriture automatique 3D translates Benjamin Van Oost’s mark-making into an open, layered construction. The black forms overlap and intersect, with empty spaces becoming as important as the solid elements. Light catches the edges and introduces shadows, giving the composition another dimension as it is viewed from different positions.
