Velcroofd — Sculptural Mask | Black

A dark mask built from layered bands and projecting forms.

Velcroofd approaches the face as a construction of surfaces, gaps and edges. The near-black finish allows the shape and texture to lead, while the separate bands give the work depth when viewed from an angle. Its vertical form sits between a recognisable face and an abstract sculptural object, leaving room for different readings.

Care and use

Handle the work carefully, supporting its main structure rather than small projecting details. Display in a stable position and dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
